  • Re: Full Cast Dramas vs. Recitation Audiobooks

Take a listen to the "What is GraphicAudio?" audio clip: MP3 Link I'd recommend listenening to more of the audio samples , so you'd most likely find that GraphicAudio isn't a regular recitative audiobook. GraphicAudio combines full cast dramatizations, narration, cinematic music...

I have been listening to Outlanders, and At times the sound effects overpowers either the narration or the dialog og the actors. I have noticed this from time to time in other series as well. Is this something that can be improved upon? Other wise I really enjoy several of your series keep it up.

A dvd camcorder would work to record the audio, but you'd want to make sure the audio bit rate setting is set to the best possible quality. Recording gun shots would be somewhat complex, because you have to use the right type of mic and set the level so it wouldn't distort. We already have a very large sound effect library, but in my experience it's...

Here's another suggestion. Why not get people to send in sound effects to be used in the adaptations? I'm sure that you could get plenty of people with fire-arms to take a recorder to the firing range and get them to capture the sound of various types of weapons firing. How about just every day...

  • Re: A Question About Sound Effects

We have alot of stereo wind effects in our library. I know for a fact, because I used to be a sound designer on the productions. The engineer for that scene may have decided to use a mono effect for a reason? We create original crowd scenes for unique situations and we also have great crowd effects already...
