  • Re: Stoneface--At last!

You're definately confused somewhere. Stoneface was written by Mark Ellis, his first DL that came out in 1996. Eclipse at noon was Laurence James last DL. He quit writing DL in 1995 and he passed away in Feb. 2000. Laurence had nothing at all to with Outlanders...the series was completely created...

  • Re: Stoneface--At last!

I have bittersweet memories of Stoneface. It was the book that set up the roots for the Outlander's series. I wrote to Lawrence James (I think that was his name, how awfull I can't remember!) and He sent me the cover of the first two Outlander books before they came out. This also is the last...

  • Re: The End ???????

Personally I like having the older titles mixed in with the new ones. Kind of keeps things new. And I am a bit anal about having the "entire" series in audio. Plus once they are doing only the new titles, they will come out probably only 4 times a year--that is when the books by Gold Eagle...

  • Re: The End ???????

As far as I know there is no end in sight to the Deathlands series. One of the best sources for upcoming Deathlands novels is JamesAxler.com . Deathlands 82: Apocalypse Unborn is scheduled to be released this month in paperback novel by Gold Eagle. Deathlands 83: Thunder Road is scheduled to be released...

  • Crossways

I have always liked Deathlands and am glad that it remains one of the titles that is done every month. I have particulary enjoyed Crossways. Kudos to the actors, producers, musicians and everyone else I don't know that makes up these things!! (I want to be a Dead Giveaway when I grow up!!)

  • Re: Perdition Valley.. The End..

Brigid reminds me of Scully from the X-Files, she is definitely the brains in the Outlanders crew, but Kane doesn't really come off having all that high of an IQ. He's got a lot of guts and heart and Grant is the muscle, but Ryan combines all three I think. Of course none of them come close to...

  • Deathlands 1

I have been listening to Deathlands for a second time around. I noticed that in Pilgramage to hell the Indians breach the main door with a simple Civil War cannon. In all of the other episodes the main door seems impenatratable. Am I correct in this?

[quote user="nogoodcards"] hmm change "implodes" to death to". Cant recall any Deathlands books where they used implodes on scalies. After all they die easily with bullets. They use implodes on guardians (several of them), Rangers to name a few, Usally used Xplodes, thermite and...

  • Re: Deans Return

Another question, assuming Dean returns - I personally think he will eventually - will be if Ms. Savard can still do his voice. He's what, close to 15 or so by his last appearance. Will Ms. Savard still be able to do a late teen's masculine voice?
