• Re: Rogue Angel Comic Books in 2008
Comics are usually too much of a mixture of words and art as opposed to novels, so I think it would be a little hard for GA to adapt these.
That is a good point, but it would be cool if GA could collaborate with IDW and Gold Eagle to make like a one shot...

  • Re: Executioner Comic

I am glad I picked up both the regular editions, and the variants. It is a shame if they are not going to publish a second series, and with GA thinking of not going forward with Mack Bolan and Executioner this will be a very upsetting year.

I look forward to your review for this series I purchased the Trade Paperback, but I will have to wait till September to read it. Honestly same goes for Executioner even though I purchased the individual comics I am waiting for this Trade Paperback as well. I personally prefer to read a limited series...
As both a fan and an artist, I have to disagree about Mike Mignola's art...his striking style and incredible sense of composition make him one of the most innovative comic artists in the field today. There is so much re-churned generic artwork out there, I find...

  • Hellboy 2: The Golden Army review

So, there we have another movie based on a comic for 2008. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. Based on the comic created by Mike Mignola, and first brought to the big screen back in 2004 to a modest $100 million world wide. Figures like that were good enough to ensure that we would end up seeing a second movie...

  • Wanted Review

An ancient fraternity of Assassins… An unfulfilled Destiny… Hunted for reasons beyond comprehension. Pretty cliché, wouldn’t you say? That’s what I thought when I saw the first trailers for the new movie Wanted. Then I had a chance to see it. Lets get straight to the heart of the matter. The opening...

Somtimes if one can hold out for the series to run its course the Graphic Novel/TPB comes out soon after , and normally it is cheaper than buying the single issues.

  • Iron Man Review

Who’d have thought – here we have an actor taking the role of a comic book hero who’s flawed. Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man has a problem with substance abuse (drinking), and tended to be a womanizer, unable to see what he had before him. Well, that and he is supposed to be brilliant. Now, we have...
