    WMA problem

I downloaded Deathlands 33, installed it on my computer. It plays fine on  Windows Media Player.

The problem is after I sync it to my MP3 player.  I have a Sansa Fuze.  It syncs up, takes up memory, but when I hit play, it shows disk 1, then jumps to disk 2, disk 3, etc. stops on 6. Wont play any of the book.

I scanned your forums, found the  Windows Media Security Update, did that update. Re-synced the Fuze, book still not playing.

I reformated my Fuze, synced the book, still wont play. Skips through the whole book still.

Went to Sansa, looked at their forums, reformated Fuze, installed firmware update, synced book, still wont play.

Took book of Fuze, deleted book from my computer, reinstalled book from original zip file.  synced book to Fuze.  still wont play.

Synced book to another Fuze, wont play on it either.

Should I download the file from GraphicAudio and try again?

At least one previous book (#32) will work properly on my Fuze.

    I am stuck.

    Thank you.

You can try burning the files to audio cd's, then ripping the discs into the computer as mp3 files. CD-RW discs would be the best option, so you can re-use the discs again. I haven't tried it yet, but CD-RW discs should work.

I don't have access to test the players today. I'll check the files tomorrow and let you know if we upload a new version.

    Thanks.

I just click and drag in Windows Media Player.  My mp3 player will show the png image.  I follow the guide on the WMA section. Has worked everytime until now.

When I go to the My Music file, the folder icons for each book will show the png image.  Befor I buy the book, the image will only take up a quarter of the file icon, After I buy the book, the image will take up the whole icon.  But #33 still shows the small image on the folder.  I am thinking that maybe my download is corrupted.

If I completey delete the book & zip file, and download it again, will I have to pay for it again?

You will only have to pay for the book once. You can re-download the file as many times you need.

You can re-authorize the files on up to 3 computers. Just log into "Returning Customers" when the media rights aquisition window pops up in Windows Media Player.

I synced the Deathlands 33 (full wma version) to a creative zen v player and it worked fine.

We did have a customer who had an error with the same title last August using a Sansa player. I don't have a Sansa player to test...

Were you able to burn the files to CD?

Negative. Got home way late and just didnt have the time.  Should be able to try it tonight. If not, I will get it done Friday morning.

Interesting about the sansa and 33...

    Edit: 1 Feb 2009

I deleted and downloaded the file again, but it still would not play on the Sansa mp3 device. I burned that file to disk and that is what finally got it to work.

Thanks for the suggestions and help.
