The MP3-CD and WMA track lengths are currently based on the Audio CD lengths. We
cut out the end of cd side announcements for the wma and mp3 files.
For
example: Audio CD # 1 is 60 minutes. MP3-CD track 1 is 60 minutes. If
there is 6 CD's in the audiobook, then there will be 6 MP3 files on the
MP3-CD.
We used to split up the CD's into multiple files, but we did a survey in which most people like CD length file sizes for download. Many people burn the downloads to Audio CD's and it's easier to format with the CD file lengths. Most mp3 players will remember where you last stopped too.
Do you like the smaller parts for remembering where you last stopped?
