    GA's future for the Executioner

I read in a different post that GA may stop production on the Executioner series?

     is this true?

does this count for The Mack Bolan series as well?

I hope it isnt going anywhere. I love this series!!!

Mack Bolan and The Executioner may not be in our upcoming catalogs. We have other newer books and series to look forward to that were not mentioned in the newsletter.

That is what was quoted by VF. I personally feel they should not close it completely as I stated in a previous post at least give us one or two a year, but not gone forever.

I remember when this series first started in print, hate to loose it as an audio as well.

Re: GA's future for the Executioner

As I also stated elsewhere I like Don Pendelton's work but it is just to much of it with Stony Man, The Executioner, and Mack Bolan. Often with new titles viaing against each other for my everdwindling $$$. I think they need to rotate them. I think Stony man does the best one month SM next MB next SM next executioner ETC  ETC...... I like these series but honestly These titles are amongst the last I chose from but then again when other options are slow I do several times a year buy Mack Bolan or the Executioner. I also admit I buy more SM than the other 2 combined. Then again I might be wrong depends on the replacements but then ARRGGGGHHHHHH what do I do????

Re: GA's future for the Executioner

I would hate to lose them too, after all what would you replace them with? We have five different William W. Johnstone series coming out, Soon Deathlands and Outlanders will be caught up and down to 4 a year as they get published, the Deathstalkers will be done, the Doomsday Warrior and Survivalist will probably only be out one more year or so (both series have a limitted number of books). GA needs to keep a well rounded variety of titles. And with the huge popularity of the Executioner comic I would think that they would be foolish to completely get rid of the Mack Bolan series. I could see them go quaterly maybe.

It seems to me however, that Stony Man is consistenly the most popular of the Bolan universe (although I might be biased in this) I think that should go back to monthly. Especially with some of the terrific new ones out now--Splintering Sky totally rocked.

But this is just my idea.

How can I be delirious with all this jawing going on?--Preacher
