Glad to hear GA plans to continue DL & OL as long as Gold Eagle continues to publish the books.
I hope the sales for the Executioner, Mack Bolan and Stony Man titles are consistent enough to allow GA to continue them as well.
I think GA has done a good job of continuing to release new titles in each series while they fill the backlog of older titles. This in additional to continually adding new series (i.e. SURVIVALIST, SERRANO LEGACY, FIRST MOUNTAIN MAIN, EAGLES, etc). While this necessarily slows the release of some older titles in various series, it allows GA to try and expand it's sales base. In my opinion, it would not be wise for GA to concentrate on completing just one or two series at the expense of everything else; they should be expanding their title base (hence, their buying audience) by contiunuing to add new titles. I doubt GA would last too long if they only produced a few titles; the aggregate sales of all the series supports any one series production.
That said, VF - anything more definite on the first title(s) in the Truly Frightening series? Or any potential titles beyond the ones I've seen mentioned here; FRANENSTEIN, DRACULA, WAR OF THE WORLDS and 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA? I hope the initial release for the series is still slated for 2008.
Thanks.
