    Sync problem, with Coda.

I cannot sync, " Coda" to my Creative MuVo V100. I get the error measage, " The device does not support synchronization of subscription content." I have been using this MP3 player for quit sometime. The last thing I downloaded was sporting chance. I tried removing all books from the V100, but Coda still will not Sync. I can sync all my other books. What is the fix?

     Thank you and best regards,

    Ghost

    Re: Sync problem, with Coda.

I have the same Creative Muvo V100 player in the office and I also tried to sync the files and failed. I tried another book and it failed too. It's odd that you're able to sync other books and not Coda, because it uses the same drm license method. It will not sync for me, because I believe the Muvo V100 player doesn't support "Subscription" digital rights management. I tested the files with another Creative mp3 player (Zen V) and they synced perfectly, becuase the Zen V supports "Subscription" drm.

There is a link on the bottom left side of the Creative Support site that says "Plays for Sure" - Using Subscriptions Services? - Important Updates.

I couldn't get the link to work, but you may want to contact Creative about the important update or download the regular update for the device

I can also suggest, as an alternative, that you burn the audio files to CD-RW discs and rip the audio back into the computer as un-protected mp3 files.

We'll try rendering a new Deathstalker Coda download to see if it has the same results. You can try downloading the Low Quality 96kbps version of Coda to see if that will work. The link is below the image download on the Coda product page: http://www.graphicaudio.net/audiobooks/zip/GADSC001L.zip

I posted a screenshot of the sync issue below:

Things like this wouldn't happen with DRM free files.  Why not just burn it to an audio cd, rip the cd and get it the way it should be?

    Dear VoltageFlow,

I am still having problems downloading Coda to my MP3 player. Last night I went out and got a Zen V Plus. I can down load everything but Coda to the new player. I have been to the Creative website and have all the software up-dates. I have also tried re-downloading coda from your website. What is next?

    Best Regards,

    Ghost

    Ghost,

We found the problem with the Coda download and uploaded new wma and zip files.

Download the new version and it should sync properly with your Creative Zen player.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue!

    Re: Sync problem, with Coda.

    Dear VoltagFlow,

Thanks for fixing, "Coda" now it works on both my Zen VT-100 and the new Zen V-Plus. I really enjoyed,"Coda", but it is just to long for sitting at the PC and hear form begin to end. I understand about protecting the book, and I support GA. (DRM is very important.) You at customer support, took good care of me. Again thank you.

    Best Regards,

    Ghost
