    Executioner Comic

well, I have read #1 of the comic. I liked it. It was a good introduction to Mack Bolan for the uninitiated. I'm not sure if I like the art or not, and i'm not sure it is worth the $3.99 price tag, but it was good. I think the telling will be in the next few issues.

$3.99 for a comic book? Ouch. Guess that shows how out of date I am.... I may spring for this one though, just to check it out. The cover looks good.

Well, that shows why kids no longer read them.  What else could you have got for that price? Perhaps a gallon of gas?

Somtimes if one can hold out for the series to run its course the Graphic Novel/TPB comes out soon after , and normally it is cheaper than buying the single issues.

i set up a subscription for it at the local comic shop. mostg comic shops offer a discount off the cover price (10% or more) for having one set up + then you dont have to worry about missing an issue

I wish I could get a subscription at my local comic shop, but he does not do that kind of service. If I wanted to try another comic shop it is more than a hour’s drive from where I live, and with gas prices as they are it would not be cost effective. Then if I ordered online one is at the mercy of the local postal carriers, and that can get ugly since they can find a way to dent a steel box. It’s great that you can get that subscription service it takes away from having to cull through that massive Previews magazine monthly

Might as well pick it up ASAP, because it looks like this one and only comic is it. I'll post more once I learn if this is the case, but right now, it looks like we won't be seeing a second series.

I am glad I picked up both the regular editions, and the variants. It is a shame if they are not going to publish a second series, and with GA thinking of not going forward with Mack Bolan and Executioner this will be a very upsetting year.
