This book is sort of a sequel to Shatter Zone/Perdition Valley by Nick Polleta. Here's the good: Pointing Deathlands series into a new direction that it has been desperately needing for a long time, Great villain, lots of action
The bad: The language. Yes these books take place after the nukecaust, but it doesn't have to sound like a cheap punk novel. Some of the language would be ok, but it is so obnoxious that it takes away from the plot. And characterization--there isn't any. All of the characters are generic one-dimmensional parodies of the characters we all know and love.
Over all not bad, with some reservations. B+
