You know, to be blunt?
This really ticks me off.
Why?
Because, it's been published for less than 2 years now. For the most part the series has been painfully dull (see my review in this particular forum for my full view on it), and I honestly don't believe it deserves a comic.
Two series that Gold Eagle publishes do - Deathlands, mainly because it's been around for twenty years, and of course Outlanders, because it's superior in every way, shape and form.
But no- GE spends a ton of cash on promoting Rogue Angel and now they do this.
You do realize of course that it's all a test. They want to see how well the 5 issues sell, and you can bet your bottom dollar that if it does well, they'll work out a contract for another mini series or possibly a full series.
To me, it doesn't deserve it. Maybe if they took to heart some of my suggestions it would be worth while, but the odds of that happening are about the odds a snowball stands to last in the fires of hell.
