    Future DC Comic Projects...

Since I saw in another thread that they were plans for more DC Comic productions, I was wondering what everyone would like to see done, or make a guess as to what GA has planned? :p

I'd like a production of Identity Crisis. Not only would it be a nice lead up to Infinite Crisis, but it's just a great story. Lots of drama. I really liked that book.

I haven't actually gotten my own copy of 52 or Infinite Crisis yet, but based on the samples I've heard and reviews I've read they look pretty cool. Can't wait to get my own. :)

DC's Sinestro Corps War was an amazing comic book crossover, and was highly acclaimed with many comments to comics of the year for 2007. This one is tailor made and screams for GA to make into an amazing production. The Trade Hard Covers are being released this year with Vol.1 out now, and Vol.2 is set for release July 1st.

Man, I still haven't read it since I stopped buying single issues and started waiting for trade paperbacks, which stinks since DC is so slow at it.

But the fringe info I heard about it sounded awesome.

That has been DC’s trademark for years they are always a step behind in producing and promoting their products be it comics, toys, and or statues. When it is an outside company producing products for DC then things are done right internally is where the issues are.

More I think about it to be honest I have been a Marvel man my whole life, but I do attempt to read some of the DC titles. When I do it is normally more about who the artist is than a storyline, and normally a one-shot. Otherwise I do the same thing you do, and wait for the trade paperbacks if the reviews have been favorable.

I used to work at a comic shop up until January this year, and while I am a 'DC guy" I do enjoy Marvel titles as well.

    Well, not right now actually.

I can hear the voices fine. You might want to turn your bass down.

Personally, I read a LOT of comic books. I read almost everything that DC publishes. So, for me, Graphic Audio books based on novels like Stone King and Exterminators is far more useful to me than adaptations of the huge events that you pretty much have to read as they come out or else turn in your comic geek badge. I can hardly wait for The Flash: Stop Motion next month, and I hope you do something featuring Kyle Rayner next.

Oh, and can we pretty please have a clean copy of the Justice League theme as like a bonus track or something? It's amazing.

Since it's not in prose form an adaption of Sinestro Corps would be nigh impossible.

That was already released previously by another audio company and was very well done.

    cheers!

The Death and Return of Superman was a radio drama made by a guy named Durk Maggs, and the script was bassed around the events in the comic book (it was only about 2 hours long). However, The Death and Life of Superman is the novel version and it has never ben put into audio book form.
