I've asked this already in another post, but will there be more out-takes?

Here's a suggestion... why not contact some of the authors directly for podcast interviews? Or, how about have some humours clips where the characters meet and talk with their 'fathers' perse, their creators? Or their number one fans? Maybe have them meet skeptics or people who downright dislike their series!

That should be worth a hell of a laugh.

Author interviews will be coming soon. We might have to get it cleared by the original publishers, but I know the authors and fans would love that. We could have the fans write questions they would like to ask a particular author.

Everbody loves the out-takes, but they can't save every mistake in the studio. They record edit on the fly, so most of the mistakes are recorded over. We'll have out-takes in podcasts a couple times a year, because they do keep the really good ones.

Are you going to keep adding questions about the series? You used one of mine quite some time ago, and to be honest, I haven't really been able to think of any that were worth sending to you folks... But clearly I'm the minority in that case.

I guess it could be a bit of a logistical nightmare to get authors of certain series to respond, like Deathlands and Rogue Angel, since both have multiple authors to deal with, and getting the questions that are asked to the correct author wouldn't be a walk in the part either.

I have a ??????????  I have been getting the downloads for podcast both Deathlands and Outlanders.   I have gotten a lot of the DL ones but i have only gotten one podcast for OL.   I was wondering when a new one was going to come out?????

I believe you're referring to the rss feeds for the deathlands and outlanders new releases.

Outlanders 43: Dark Goddess is the next Outlanders release and will be available next Tuesday.

I listened to my first podcast (#14) yesterday on the computer - this one was of special interest because it was the interview with the DOOMSDAY WARRIOR author.  Interesting to listen to some of the backstory on how the series came about.  Thanks to GA for taking the time to do these sorts of things for the customers.  BTW, in the interview, the author mentioned he had written other detective series under a psuedonym, but the series was never identified,  doesanyone know what books these were?  He also invited fans to write to him, but I did not get an address or e-mail.  Does GA have a way to forward notes?

Thanks for the info, VF.  I actually have all the C.A.D.S. books on a shelf at home (one of the many series I bought throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's - my shelves are full of them).  I wasn't aware that Mr. Syvertsen was one of the folks behind the John Sievert psuedonym - I wasn't even aware that it was a psuedonym, but I guess that's normal.  I was going to suggest this series as a possible GA production - is there any interest?  It's another post-apocalyptic series, with a military tech slant.  Fun stuff.

 I will use the DOOMSDAY WARRIOR forum to post a few questions for Mr. Syvertsen - I hope he finds some time to respond.

 I also forgot to mention I thought it was cool that GA also took the time to interview one of the fans.  Good stuff.

How about doing a 5 min(time negotiable) montage of some of the greatest lines from your titles. Like Krystys "Mother Guia Give me the strenght" and grants "I'm going to go post apopolytic on your slagging ass" and john silences"He really is the best of us" and other great lines. Would just take some time to figure out what lines you want and mixing board. Maybe put it to some music. Europe Final countdown or Cherokee Nation or any other appropiate music.

Oh man...PUH-LEASE tell me you guys at GA are going to do the awesome CADS series!

C.A.D.S. sounds like a perfect fit for GA, and I truly hope this is one of the new projects you have been talking about.  

 

 CADS was really a very good and exciting series, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Another one that would be a good fit would be WARBOTS which was a little similar.
